Five years is the distant past in Dubai time. That's about the age of the development called Old Town Island, with its Souk Al Bahar, which endeavours to recreate the atmosphere of an ancient bazaar. The effect is somewhat diminished by the presence of a Middle Eastern outpost of the Rivington Grill, a restaurant from London's East End.
