Rivington Grill, Dubai is proud to be associated with The Tashkeel Gallery which was established in January 2008. Tashkeel, meaning 'fine art' in Arabic, is an independent resource for artists and designers living and working in the United Arab Emirates. Tashkeel is committed to facilitating art and design practice, cross-cultural dialogue and creative exchange.
Rivington Grill, in association with Tashkeel, is currently displaying work by Geta Meh, Jalal Abuthina and Hussain Ali Al-Numairy. The restaurant is also showing two pieces by Lateefa Maktoum, entitled 'Personal Tranquillity' and 'Reflecting'. This work is a fabricated image representing the artist's feeling towards the development that is occurring regionally.

Tashkeel
'Soundings' Exhibition running until 12 Jan 2012. A photography exhibition by the photographer Mark Pilkington. This is his second solo show at Tashkeel.
Following the'Soundings' exhibition, there will be a show called 'FAKIE' which is a skate deck exhibition. Skate decks were provided to a number of artists, and they were free to paint or design whatever they felt like on them.
Lawrie Shabibi
Selma Gürbüz, one of Turkey's foremost contemporary painters will be exhibiting at the Lawrie Shabibi Gallery from 24 October. Her solo exhibition, Mind's Eye, is a first for the Gulf region and Gurbuz draws on a broad range of influences and merges them with her whimsical imagination to produce lyrical and very personal works.
Traffic Gallery
From 2 Feb, Traffic Gallery will be having a 'market of everything' for artists and art lovers to buy, sell, trade or donate. The entire space will be converted into a selling space with visitors being able to pick up some great and interesting pieces.
